The Prepositional Case

The prepositional case is used to indicate location.

Add е to a hard consonant	Replace а with е	Replace о with е	Replace ь (masculine) with е

The plural form also changes in the prepositional case:

Uses

The prepositions most commonly used with the prepositional case are в in, на at, о about:

В / НА

Generally, в indicates a specific place, while на is more of a concept. (As shown above, Россия uses в, while почта, which means post or mail but can mean post office in context, uses на.) It's sometimes difficult to know which to use- в is most common, so it's always a fair guess.
